On 10 September 2024, the 47th WorldSkills competition will start. WorldSkills is a global event dedicated to the excellence of professional skills. The finals will be held for the first time in Lyon, France, from 10 to 15 September 2024.
Every two years, young talents from all over the world in various fields compete against each other at the WorldSkills event. The 2024 edition promises to attract thousands of participants and visitors to Lyon and, where an international stage will be provided for innovation and skill in a broad spectrum of professions.
WorldSkills is not just about the competition itself. It is a celebration of young talent, vocational education and the future of labour.
